This fireplace received a complete makeover and includes built-in shelving. The new flooring is waterproof luxery vinyl plank. The hearth extension was lowered but the interior of the fireplace was raised up.
Backyard Seating/Storage
A storage bench that I designed and built. The bench provides about 16 linear feet of seating and holds Rubbermade totes underneath.

Water damaged bathroom

My first look at the bathroom.
A new client had extensive water damage in a bathroom vanity. The image on the right is how the bathroom looked when I first saw it. The only useable vanity components that remained were the sinks, faucets, drawers and doors. It was an interesting project to build the cabinet and faceframe within the original footprint, so the floor wouldn't have to be redone. I installed the tile and reinstalled the plumbing to finish the job.
Storage space under the stairs
This half bathroom held a secret. Unused space underneath the house's stairway was inaccessible.
After demo, framing, drywall and electrical work, the bathroom offered 30 linear ft. of usable storage. A new door, flooring and paint finish the space.

I built and installed these cabinets from scratch.
Fireplace update
This 1980's fireplace was in need of an update. Existing tile and framing was removed.
Slate tiles make up the new fireplace and a colored concrete slab create the hearth. Lights have been added to finish the space.
Built-in bookshelves
This blank wall has many possibilities.
The wall was reframed to incorporate a reading collection.
Tiled shower
The walls of the shower area in this mobile home were previously covered with fiberglass.
The owners wanted me to install white tile in a subway pattern. The smaller tiles actually open up the space. All that's left to do is install the finish plumbing.
Yard with new fence and landscaping
The owners of this yard were wanting some changes.
The fence built and water-hungry lawn removed, the new plantings were chosen to be drought tolerant.

Two of the chairs as I received them.
I received three well-used patio chairs that had fallen apart. I turned them into a garden bench with attached tabletop.
Just for fun ...
The vertical cacti gardens shown here were made from scrap lumber I had on hand. The boxes were planted with cacti cuttings and once the plants had enough time to 'root' in the soil, the boxes were hung on walls.
